Happy New Year! I hope all of you are having a wonderful 2010 so far! I’ve been in Miami since Wednesday celebrating my sister’s 30th birthday. Since I’m here, I finally got to check out the Faith21 line in person and I was pleasantly surprised (and also spent way too much money). Unfortunately I haven’t been keeping up with taking pictures of my outfits daily, but this is the best I can do for now:
I ended up wearing my thrifted black and gold studded dress for New Year’s Eve. I wanted to wear the sequins Monif C. dress from my last YouTube video, but sadly I didn’t have any shoes to match. Isn’t my sister gorgeous?
For New Year’s Day, I wore a new top & mini skirt from F21. I’m sure I’ll wear the outfit again soon, and next time I’ll take a full length photo!
Yesterday was actually a bit chilly! I can’t believe that even in Miami, I’m still in head-to-toe black. It’s a hard habit to break!
What did you guys wear for New Year’s Eve? (Feel free to post pictures in the comments!) What are your resolutions? I have three: to be more organized, to be more active, and to take better care of my skin!
You’re both gorgeous!!! I spent the holidays with my older sis, too, and it was awesome. I miss her already. As for the new year, my words for 2010 are frugality and balance. Good luck with yours!
WOW! I didn’t know you had planned to where the Sequins Monif C dress..I don’t know which color you have but I wore the rainbow one for new years eve. I put pictures on my blog http://www.fatshopaholic.com/2010/01/shutting-down-party-in-monif-c-outfit.html.
Happy new year! You look so gorgeous! I wore my cage dress for our new year’s celebration. One of my goals for 2010 is to pare down my closet! xo Fatshionable

That dress is such a great thrift score!
I went kinda casual for a house party with dark jeans and a black fitted/belted 3/4 sleeve jacket with a sequined tank underneath. Also, I wore green flats.

dress from old navy, bolero from torrid, necklace from some random boutique in paris, and shoes from DSW.
😀
you look soo good, love it!!
Head to toe black was my MO for years. My mother hated it & so does my BF. I have always loved black ever since JR High I’ve been wearing black. I think its just classic and no matter what year it is or style is on trend you can make a black outfit look stylish! Great look at the beach! Miami is great, have fun!
Happy New Years! I hope to have more time for myself in the new year. That is my resolution.
I wore some color….a xmas shirt from my sister, black skirt from I think express (brought it over 5 years ago), fishnet tights from target, and ankle boots from urban outfitters.

Both you and your friend are so very pretty. I love your boots on the beach photo, but you have to break the all-black habit! 😀
