I think the teaser last week pretty much gave it away, but here is the official announcement: YFF is hosting the first ever plus size fashion blogger conference this summer! I’ve invited ten of the best fatshion bloggers from around to world to meet up in New York City July 9-11 for a weekend of fun. The best part? We get to meet you guys! There will be a meet and greet cocktail mixer to kick off the event on Friday, July 9th at Re/Dress NYC. We’ve just launched the official site yffconference.com, so head on over to find out more about what’s happening, who’s attending (click on their pictures for info), and how to RSVP. The conference blog will be updated constantly during the event, so you won’t miss a thing. We’ll also be having a live video chat for those of you who can’t make it.
For clarification purposes: The blogger conference is dedicated to the invited bloggers only. The Meet & Greet is one part of the conference and is open to everyone of all ages–this is the event that we are asking you to RSVP to. We hope to see you there!
Thank you to City Chic, Evans, and We Love Colors for making this possible! If you would like to help sponsor this event, please contact [email protected]

Hi Gabi, this is brilliant and well done for organising such an exciting event (hopefully one of many more). I’m in the UK so can’t be there for the meet and greet, but maybe one day we can all organise something even bigger
Also, excellent sponsors!
Also, I know it might be too much to ask, but would it be possible to have a transcript of the online conference after you’ve posted it? I’m deaf so it will be hard to follow it without subtitles/captions. I don’t mean in real time, but maybe some sort of general transcript a few weeks after the actual event, as I know it takes a long time to transcribe something. It would be great for other deaf people like me!
Wonderful! How are people chosen to participate in events like this? I’d love to be part of something like this in the future. Blessings!
