Since I’m now officially a Cali girl, I was so excited when Crowdtap reached out to me about going to Coachella on behalf of Herbal Essences! I’ve always wanted to go, and it seemed like the perfect time to finally experience the much beloved three day music festival–not to mention the line up was amazing this year.
Those of you who have asked about my hair routine may remember my obsession with Herbal Essences “Color Me Happy” shampoo and conditioner; I’ve used it since high school. It’s technically for colored hair, but it’s really moisturizing and I think it’s great for dry hair as well. The best part? It smells so good. Like, getting stopped on the street by strangers and asked what perfume I’m wearing good. So, I was super stoked to learn that they’ve made it into a body wash, “Happy Go Lather” (along with four other options). Now I can have my signature scent even on the days I don’t wash my hair! I tried the different body washes at Coachella, where showers are VERY necessary, and they all left me smelling equally delicious.
Three other bloggers were invited: An of HautePinkPretty, Elizabeth of A Keene Sense of Style, and McKenna of McKennaBleu. They were such sweethearts and because we spent three days together, we got to bond a lot more than we would have at your typical blogger event. Highlights of the weekend included seeing Kid Cudi, HAIM, Bastille, Solange, Lorde, and OutKast. I’m still kicking myself for being too much of an old lady to stay up for Pharell! I’ve seen him a few times live, but he had some amazing guests come out, including Jay-Z.
How cute are these glam safari tents we stayed in?
