Wow! The response to the #everyBODYisflawless video has been overwhelming! Thank you all so much for your support–the video has been featured on a ton of media outlets and has gotten over 250,000 views. Insane! I wanted to screen shot our looks and talk a little more about what each of us wore. A lot of planning went into styling the video, from our hair and makeup to our jewelry.
LOOK ONE
For this scene, I was inspired by the grunge aesthetic from the original Beyonce video. I looked for leather, denim, plaid, and all things ripped/studded etc. We all had winged eyeliner and a bold red lip. This is by far the look that I’ve been asked about the most; everyone wants to know where my leather jacket is from! I actually found it on eBay for $450 (from this user, who I believe takes custom orders through his other website, here.) Though it was super expensive, it’s real vintage leather and hand studded, and I knew it was worth it. I’d been coveting the Burberry one for years, and this cost 10% of that one. I wore it with this black mesh dress from ASOS and this harness from Hips & Curves. My midi rings are from Bauble Bar.Tess wore this ripped dress from Hips & Curves (folded up into a top) with this garter from Domino Dollhouse and her own fishnets. The plaid shirt around her waist is from Target. Nadia’s shorts are vintage, her shirt is from shopjawbreaking and her plaid shirt is from River Island.
LOOK TWO
For the bathtub shots, I wanted to mix glamour and hood. We all wore fur, lingerie and bling. We incorporated braids into each of our looks, and wore bright eyeliner with a pink or nude lip. I wore this teal faux fur from SimplyBe with this polka dot mesh bodysuit from CarmaKoma. I wish you could fully see how cute it is! Make sure you check out their website because it’s truly amazing, and it comes in neon green too! I wore earrings and rings from BaubleBar, and a Forever21 necklace.Nadia wore black and gold shapewear from SimplyBe, her own black faux fur, and Forever21 earrings.Tess wore this chemise from Hips & Curves, this amazing Lynx fur coat (reminiscent of Cruella DeVille) from QVC, and a BaubleBar necklace.
LOOK THREE
For the red light scene, I wanted an Old Hollywood/Jessica Rabbit feel. We all wore sequins dresses from Rent The Runway+ with wavy, glamorous hair.
I wore the Badgley Mischka Get Lucky dress.Nadia wore the same Badgley Mischka dress in Blue Martini with Forever21 earrings.
Tess wore the Badgley Mischka Sound the Alarm dress with a necklace and rings from BaubleBar, and an opal ring from Eclectic Eccentricity.
Hope you guys enjoyed this run down. Outfit post coming tomorrow! Thanks again for all of your support with spreading the video and the message. We love you guys.
