You know those days when you’re running late and you have to roll out of bed and just throw something on? That’s when I scan my closet for a shift dress. (I love this tropical print one from ASOS, though I had to have it shortened a few inches because initially it literally fit like a nightie.) Once I find a dress, I throw on some red lipstick and big sunglasses, hoping they distract from my bedhead and general fatigue.

Eventually I realize my hair looks less ~sexy bedhead~ and more frizzy mess, so I throw it in a bun. I wore this to the Carmakoma preview, which totally blew me away. Their Spring/Summer collection is possibly the best plus size collection I’ve seen to date. Like, in my life. I can’t wait until it’s out!

So good. I almost always have to have their dresses shortened too. I really love the a-line swing dresses and oversize stuff, but ugh… they truly do look like granny nightgowns when they hit below the knee.
