When I moved to LA, I imagined I’d spend a ton of time at the beach. Well…I’m three years in and I’m lucky if I make it there a few times a year. (It’s funny what we take for granted when things are so close to us!) This year, though, I’ve been determined to make more of an effort to check things off of my “must do in LA” list, and renting a cute bike to ride around Venice was at the top of mine.
It totally didn’t disappoint! For $6, I got a cruiser and made my way up and down the strip, people watching as palm trees swayed in the wind. I chose the coral bike–partially because it went well with my outfit, but it also matched my scent! I used Le Petit Marseillais White Peach and Nectarine shower gel that morning, and I took it as a sign that the bike perfectly matched the bottle color. (And for the record: it smells amazing. I like to pretend that as I rode by, people had to do a double take because of the cute girl who smelled like peaches).
