Kind of like, I don’t know, everyone else in the entire world, one of my favorite fashion icons is the ever-inspiring Audrey Hepburn. For as long as I can remember, I’ve heard people talk about how amazing she looked in her signature cigarette pants. And like clockwork, they always add “but only women with a body like hers could pull those off.” I love proving people wrong.
I know I already featured Sakina on YFF, but I can’t help but share another outfit of hers. When I saw her in these perfectly tailored pants, I knew I had to spread the word: fat girls look hot in ankle-length skinnies. I totally think she does Ms. Hepburn proud.
this is perfection. it’s classy and chic, i love it!
how could i mind ?! Thank you sooooooooooo much ! I think i’m gonna blush ! I wanted an ankle-length skinny so bad that i thought why not have it made by a seamstress ? it’s a shame that chuby ladies can’t find anything they want is stores… but i’m sure things are going to change! have you seen that ASOS.com is thinking of creating a plus size range ? they are running a survey to see if it is worth it.. go check it !
No way she so does!! Wai! This gives me so much hope for the future xD I mean this look is so in!
You rocked it!!
LOVE IT. And the jacket and the shoes and also the bag. Feminine without being too dainty and la-di-da, still very practical. I could totally see myself wearing that on any summer evening up here. Well-played!
Looks great! If you love chubbier ladies, you should check out this music video tribute, “FAT GIRLS” – IT’S FANTASTIC!
