I told you guys a while back that I would be making a “How to Thrift” video, but I got ridiculously busy and never got around to it. (Well, actually I tried once, but the thrift store was busy and trying to film myself got a little awkward). I’d still planned on making one, but Gabby of Corazones Rojos beat me to the punch! She’s pretty much the queen of thrifting, so I’m happy to share her video with you. Make sure you check out her blog if you haven’t done so yet!

Ooh cool thrifting. Does anyone else find it rather difficult to find things that aren’t torn or dusty or caked in pet hair? Could I be looking in the wrong places?
Wow- that store looked huge! Are all thrift stores pretty big in the US? Here in the UK the closest thing we have are charity shops, which are usually tiny and don’t have much selection at all.
Well, Georgiana, I can tell you firsthand that the thrift shop in my Rhode Island town is very wimpy!

You know, I rarely find things dirty or torn in thrift stores, at least the ones around here. I always try to wash things before I wear them, and some things are stained, but for the most part things are almost good as new. The Goodwill Bins, where you can purchase things by the pound are a bit different, but that is a whole nother story!

well, i love to thrift. it’s just a shame, that here in my city, there is no place to thrift good thigs. the most of it it’s just old and bad. but, i always try!
