I was hesitant to post this outfit, because admittedly there is no “wow factor.” It’s pretty plain, but a lot of people have asked me to post more often wearing pants. Today I wore my grey acid wash jeggings sent by Evans, which are super comfy but a bit too big. I suggest sizing down if you order these! (Actually, I like my jeggings to look painted on, so it may just be me). I paired them with a black v-neck tee and blazer, and wore my oversized watch and gold chain for a bit of interest.

I don’t know if you got my tweet or not (LavenduhChic) but I was one of those that suggested you should still post your outfit. Plain or not, if you feel you look cute in it, go for it. I’m a sucker for simplicity, so I’m loving this look! I need an oversized watch in my life.
yah i see what ya mean, for those to be jeggings, they fit like regular denim. I like mines to look “painted” on as well. I still like the outfit though. All the pizazz is great, but so is simplicity every once in a while. The accessories make it not so boring and well yeah the jeans too!

I think this outfit looks super chic on you. It’s nice to rock edgy clothes, but, sometimes being simply chic is just as good. As a born and bred Brooklyn girl, you definitely look like a New Yorker in this outfit. You know how we New Yorkers love our black, lol.

yup – I bought the UK 18 black jeggings from evans and they were a little too big on me.
The jeans look fine. Buying jeans is so difficult, for me anyways.

I ordered another pair (darker denim blue) at evans some time ago in my regular jeans size, cause I was scared they may not be as strechy as the leggings and it was a total mistake, they are sooooo big, I would definitely go down 1 or two sizes.
I liks this outfit, it looks really nice even if its kind of plain it doesn’t look plain at all, also you lipstick and nails add a great color!

I am a jeggings convert after seeing these pictures. I really like how they look around the ankle over the heels, looks like just the right amount of stretch to me, and leggings are so comfortable. Not Plain Jane at all!

I actually prefer the simple look on you! You have a very pretty face and a proportionate body so you can work whatever. Looks very young, fresh, and easy.
Nothing simple about gray acid wash jeans and uber high-heeled patent pumps. It’s certainly not everyday-wear for me. It’s hot in a subtle way.
