I’ve finally made it to NYC for Fashion Week and I’m having such a blast. Saturday’s highlights included Mara Hoffman’s show and the rewardStyle party where I got to catch up with so many blogger friends. Everyone was commenting on how “chill and LA” I looked, which I thought was hilarious–I didn’t realize how much my style has changed until now.
I wore my new favorite piece: this pink and blue printed Philip Lim kimono jacket! I found it at Nordstrom Rack and shrieked–they only had a size 4 but I made it work (and also ordered a size 8 because I’m crazy. I’ll probably end up selling this one.) It’s on sale here and it’s so oversized that I think the size 4 would easily fit a 12 (6=14, 8=16 etc) as long as you’re cool with wearing it open. I wore it over a SAMANTHA JONES PRINT TEE from Clashist that I’m so happy exists.

I am totally digging the pattern mixing! Thank God for designers who make oversized pieces. Whether they choose to participate or not, they are contributing to plus-size fashion and it looks awesome.

How is it I just discovered this? LOL anyway just to jump on gabi’s YES! YES, I don’t have the waist to hip ratio that our darling Gabi has, but as per my hubby I look very shapely and sexi in my $18 jeans! LOL
