If you haven’t noticed, I get bored with my hair pretty easily and I’m prone to drastic changes. I’ve always had the “it grows back!” mentality when it comes to hair, so I’m generally not nervous–I just make an impulsive decision about it. Since I’m still loving the blonde color, I decided to cut it. I wanted something edgy and fun, and when I found this photo of Rita Ora, I immediately knew it was the cut for me:
I brought the photo to my stylist, Hunter at Arrojo in NYC yesterday, and I’m really happy with the result! I already had shorter bangs, but when those grow out it will be almost identical to the cut I wanted:
I’m sure in a few months I’ll be craving a change, but for now I’m super happy. I feel like this is a cut that I can roll out of bed, tousle around and go (I guess I’ll find out how true that is very soon…). Usually my hair gets oily one or two days after a blow out, and I feel like the oil won’t affect this cut as much (piecey hair is cute when it’s layered and short–not so much when it’s long and stringy!)
I love it! Looks so good – I am also always craving a change with my hair, but I’ve been trying to be disciplined and grow it out for my wedding, and because I’ve wanted longer hair again. IT’S SO HARD.
So sexy and chic! Adore it!
this cut is so cute. I cut mine similar to this dec 2013 but then chopped it into a boy’s cut the following month bc i wanted even more edge, lol. It’s since grown back out into a longer bob and I’m debating on ombreing the tips, but this pic makes me want to get scissor happy again, lol. your stylist did a fantastic job!
looks great!
