In case you don’t follow me on social media, this is the official announcement that I dyed my hair purple! I absolutely loved the blonde–in fact I miss it already–but it was just too damaging. I decided to go back to my natural hair color, but since I have to dye it dark brown anyway, I thought it’d be the perfect time to try out some fun colors in between. I bought Ion Color Brilliance dye in lavender and did it alone in my bathroom! It’s semi-permanent so you don’t have to mix it with anything, and the directions are pretty self-explanatory. If you have longer hair than me I’d definitely suggest getting two boxes because I almost ran out. I’ve only washed it once since, and it’s already faded quite a bit, so be aware of that as well. I love the color and will probably keep it for a few more weeks before going back to brown. (Lipgloss is here in lilac).
I used the same color when I went purple – it definitely has better color payoff than a lot of other dyes I’ve used, especially for keeping its pastel-ness. You’ve got me wanting to do it again!
